It may be disturbing to see green stool (faeces or other strange looking) in the bathroom, but there are some reasons why you come. These are some of the most common causes of concern and green shit.

The liver secretes a bright green liquid called bile into the small intestine, where it is concentrated and stored in the gallbladder.

Bile plays a role in the emulsification of the absorption and digestion of fats and fat soluble vitamins. It helps soften the stool and is responsible for granting the characteristic brown feces. Bile helps alkalize tract. It consists of bile salts, cholesterol, phospholipids, bilirubin and electrolytes.

As bile,. His way through the small intestine and the large intestine through the bile ducts, gradually the color changes from green to yellow to brown, due to the action of bacteria in the colon in bile salts

Green chair often indicates that the food passes through the gut faster than normal (reduced call colon runtime) before it will be changed from green to brown. Intestinal transit to reduce diarrhea time so any condition that causes diarrhea can cause green stools.
