Do you have a tip? Is that to be naked? Did you say something, when the pressure is not deep enough? What if you are aware of your body? Here are the answers to the ten questions you ask maybe too embarrassed.
1) Are you want to tip?
If you receive a massage in a spa or a hotel, a tip of 15% to 20%, it is standard when satisfied with the services. On the other hand, no rules or real basic rules when it comes to massage in a medical environment. Some massage therapists and massage associations I asked, Kipp said is not appropriate in a medical or clinical environment. Others said it is always welcome.
If you are unsure, you have to not be afraid to ask if tipping is customary be. You can call ahead to ask if you do not want to face to face.
If tipping is not the norm, you can show your appreciation with respect to friends, family and colleagues in the massage therapist.
2) Do I have to take my underwear?
Many people prefer to keep their panties or briefs with a massage, while others to be completely naked. It's for you.
If your problem areas are the lower back, hips, buttocks or groin, tight underwear can sometimes get in the way of massage work, but a string of women or men to remind them of the trick.
In North America, if you use of your underwear, licensed massage therapists must ensure that it is always good covered with a sheet or towel. Only the area being massaged will be uncovered.
3) What if I realize I drooled?
Many people in a peaceful slumber fall during the massage, but when they wake up, see a puddle of drool on the pillow or massage table. This is very common. It often happens when people massaged while lying face down on the massage table. Do not be afraid to ask the massage therapist for a tissue.
4) Will the massage therapist be there when I move out?
In North America, the massage therapist will leave the room so that you under the top sheet can undress and on the massage table (usually down).
No rush or worry that the massage therapist you walk - the masseur calls and asks if he is willing before entering the massage room.
5) Should I talk during the massage?
Although some people prefer to talk throughout the massage that you do not feel like you have to make conversation with the massage therapist. After a treatment you have, you are not in a party!
Do not hesitate to close your eyes and relax, which is what most people do.
Deep tissue massage and sports are some of the types of massage that require more input. The massage therapist often works in the deeper layers of muscle and want to ensure that the pressure is not uncomfortable.
Be careful if to say:
- The room is too hot or too cold
- Ache
- Any questions about a massage
- , During the consultation mention Not everything that you forgot
6) What if I an erection?
Some men avoid massage therapy because they fear that they will have an erection. Or you get a massage, but are unable during the massage because of this fear to relax.
But there is no reason to feel ashamed. It is perfectly normal for men to achieve an erection for a non-sexual, therapeutic massage.
Soft touch can be administered to an area of the body, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated and cause partial or full erection. Your massage therapist (male or female) understands and usually ignored.
If you are still concerned, you can set bikini swimwear men during the massage, which offers more support than boxers.
7) How do I know if there is a legitimate clinic?
Although you may think that massage parlors that can provide sexy and erotic massage fishy sound natural, sometimes it can be difficult to find these places.
If you have a new clinic or Spa try it's a good idea to call first and ask these questions:
- Enjoy a therapeutic massage?
- Is massage export license or?
- Have your customers on a health questionnaire?
8) The pressure is not deep enough, but I do not want to insult the art therapist. What I have to do?
Communicate openly with the massage therapist. But keep in mind that it is a myth that massage therapy has to hurt to be effective.
Some of the most effective types of massage therapy are mild and do not include deep pressure or pain. In fact, can cause excess pressure to paralyze muscles.
Here is a good rule of thumb - on a scale of one to 10, one of which is no pain and 10 the most painful, the pressure must always be less than seven.
